| Roman Chair Sit-ups
require the purchase of a Roman Chair Bench, but this exercise is not a
solution to real weight loss, only a good fat burning dieting program can
accomplish that goal. The Roman Chair is basically a short decline
bench with roller pads to place the feet and ankles under. With the
feet and ankles supported the user then leans back placing stress on the
abdominal muscles and lower back. The movement is short and similar
to crunches except that there is an angle to it placing more stress on
the abdominal muscles because the abdominal muscles are holding up the
weight of your upper-body.
Roman Chair Sit-ups
are an excellent addition to any abdominal workout, but to loose weight
and reach your weight loss goals you must follow a good fat burning dieting
program. As a matter of fact the Roman Chair can also be used for
an overall abdominal muscle workout. To work the obliques simply
add a slight twist to the movement and to work the obliques and intercostals
you can do stick twists while simultaneously doing the Roman Chair Sit-ups.
But keep in mind
that abdominal exercises can only strengthen, tighten and tone the abdominal
muscles but cannot remove fat tissue from the stomach area. The only
way to loose weight and to rid the stomach area of body fat tissue is to
use a fat burning dieting and nutritional program. Only then will
you be able to see the results of your abdominal exercising, only then
will you be able to really loose weight and reach your fitness goals.
