Sling is basically two straps with hooks on one end of each strap that
attach to a door chin-up bar. The user simply rests the back of his/her
arms inside of the straps and grips the straps for support then lifts the
knees up towards the chest area. Like other ab machines it
claims to give miraculous weightloss and waist slimming results with little
effort but in reality you cannot lose weight until you begin a good dieting
program that is both healthy and also geared for long term weightloss.
The Gut Blaster Sling
is very effective for strengthening, tightening and toning the lower abs
as well as the oblique muscles located on the side of the waist by putting
a slight twist to the movement.
The Gut Blaster Sling
is a good addition to any abdominal workout but is not a complete abdominal
exerciser because it only works 2 of the 3 major abdominal muscles.
The Gut Blaster Sling does not work the upper abdominal muscles and is
often improperly used. Too often users do not have abdominal muscles
strong enough not to overuse the hip flexors and other lower body muscles
which take too much stress off of the abdominal muscles they are trying
