| Ab Loops is the
exact same abdominal exercise as the Gut Blaster Sling. Ab Loops
are two padded straps that attach to a doorway chin-up bar with hooks that
are attached to one end of each Ab Loop. The user places the backs
of his/her arms inside of the straps and grips the straps for extra support
then lifts the knees up towards the chest area thereby hanging from the
Ab Loops.
Ab Loops effectively
stress the lower abdominal muscles as well as the sides of your waist known
as the oblique muscles when the user lifts his/her knees up with a twisting
of the abdominal muscles and lower body.
The Ab Loops are
a great addition to any abdominal workout especially those lacking a true
lower abdominal exercise. The only caution with the Ab Loops as well
as the Gut Blaster Sling pertains to training the obliques. Because
your obliques will be lifting the weight of your lower body the muscles
on the side of your waist may enlarge, actually making the waist bigger.
Just be sure not to twist the abdominal muscles to far to either side.
But do not forget
that abdominal exercises of any kind can only strengthen, tighten and tone
the abdominal muscles. Using the Ab Loops or any other abdominal
exercise will not get rid of the body fat tissue covering your stomach
area. The only way to burn body fat tissue is to follow a healthy
fat burning program. Then and only then will you be able to see the
results of your abdominal workouts.
